Chicken galangal or also known as Chicken Likku is unique dishes that can not be separated from Bugis tribes especially in Tawau. Why? Because it is hereditary cuisine that will be served in most homes you visit in Bugis feast. Why the name ginger chicken, this dish because the main ingredient is ginger or in Bugis, galangal is called likku.
